We know what you're thinking, was it really necessary to tag in the champagne?! Of course it was! On this dreary day, we are looking toward the weekend (with lots of champagne) and absolutely loving this sunny space. We always say you need to love where you work....or is it love the work you do? Either one works for us!

We are all about this round rustic dining table and these slip cover chairs. The round table makes the traditional dining room have a more relaxed feel, while the slip covered chairs looks sharp and textured. Paired with all of the neutral colors, this room looks inviting and refreshing. The natural light in this room is to die for and we love the use of the greenery. We wouldn't mind eating in this room every day! Click the links for similar items to DIY in your own home!
Living in a condo in downtown Chicago doesn't provide a ton of room for a monstourous master bathroom. That being said, I constantly have major bathroom envy. With the current trends pointing towards beautiful tiles and gorgeous statement mirrors, I just had to share a couple of my favorite looks. I hope you love them as much as I do!
Absolutely obsessed with this mirror!!! Find it here.

With winter coming to a close, bright colors and natural light are a must have to enjoy that amazing spring air. Light, focal colors can make a room feel airy and bright. While bringing in the contrasting dark grey adds a pop of color. Another great tip is to use books for decor accessories, instead of a variety of different trinkets. Books look appealing to the eye and give your guests something to look at. Click the links for similar items. Enjoy!

Having a serene and peaceful bedroom is imperative for getting a good nights sleep and feeling entirely relaxed after a long day. For me, the bedroom is one of the most important rooms of the whole house. This is the place that you will spend most of your time in and it should encompass all of the things that make you happy. Whether you need calming colors or a cozy spot to sit and read by a fire place- it's important to make it your own.

I was fortunate enough to attend the Spring High Point Market from April 18 through April 22. It was my first market and it was completely awesome. I learned so much in 5 fast days and was able to really study the current and upcoming trends in the interior industry.
For the next couple of posts, I will be posting my favorite displays, pieces and my favorite showrooms from High Point Market. Please excuse my photography skills on my Ipad! Enjoy!

Technically, spring has already arrived. However, here in Chicago, we still had some snow showers this morning. I decided that this was not acceptable and that I needed to look at some colorful rooms to warm up today! Using large pieces of furniture that have such a bold color can sometimes be hard or overwhelming, but it can completely make a room. Don't be afraid to go bold! This look reminded me of something that would be in an apartment or a condo in the city. Being in the city, you don't have a lot of room and sometimes less is more. This dining room doesn't have a lot in it, but it works for the space. I would personally put a more rich painting all the wall for a pop of color. It looks clean, organized, and makes the room look big with the lack of accessories. Click the links to do it yourself!
